When I began studying Software Engineering at university, I was always drawn to two worlds: the logical, structured side of coding and the creative, visual side of design. Alongside my passion for technology and building digital solutions, I also had a strong interest in design and graphics. That mix made me realize I wanted to follow a path where both logic and creativity could come together. The first time I discovered UI/UX, it immediately clicked—it felt like the perfect space where technology, user experience, and even business could intersect. That’s why, instead of focusing solely on coding, I decided to dive into the world of user experience design.

I began at Vista focusing mainly on UI design, but through client meetings I quickly became involved in understanding their business strategies and aligning design with marketing, UX, and overall product goals. Rather than just executing ideas, we collaborated with clients during ideation to ensure the final product truly met their needs. This close involvement and positive client feedback led to my promotion. As projects grew, I became the team lead, managing three designers—teaching, delegating tasks, and gaining valuable experience in leadership, collaboration, and even HR challenge

allowing me to work across the entire product process—from user research and gathering real needs to defining product strategy and aligning design with business goals. This approach helped ensure that the products we delivered were both practical and closely aligned with users’ real needs. This experience broadened my perspective on design. Design was no longer just about creating visually appealing interfaces; it involved research, data analysis, and making decisions based on user needs and business objectives. At Chortke, I learned that product design is a multidimensional process that requires simultaneous attention to users, the team, and business goals.
